2027: Dafinone Mobilises Ethiope West, Sapele APC Leaders for ‘Six-Over-Six’ Victory

Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ethiope West and Sapele Local Government Areas of Delta State have pledged to work collectively to deliver all the party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The commitment was made on Sunday as the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, continued his consultation tour of the two local government areas as part of efforts to strengthen the party ahead of the elections.
The consultations brought together party leaders, political stakeholders and supporters, with discussions centred on unity, grassroots mobilisation and the need to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Dafinone and other APC candidates.
In Ethiope West, the APC Local Government Chairman, Hon. Clement Okorodide, described Dafinone’s visit as significant, saying it would further strengthen political mobilisation in the area.
Okorodide assured the senator that party members in the local government remained united and committed to delivering all APC candidates at the polls.
Former member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Halims Agoda, expressed confidence that Ethiope West would record one of the highest votes for the APC in Delta State in 2027.
Agoda, who also commended Dafinone for his representation in the Senate, particularly his legislative interventions and constituency projects, said party members were already looking forward to celebrating victory after the elections.
The Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Ejiro Etasherure, also called for greater unity among APC members, stressing that the party could only achieve victory through collective efforts.
He declared that Ethiope West had no option but to work towards a “six-over-six” victory for the APC.
Also speaking, former member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ben Igbakpa, noted that the political strength of Ethiope West had always been demonstrated whenever its leaders and people worked together.
Igbakpa commended Dafinone for taking his consultation to the grassroots and for what he described as his humble approach to representing the interests of his constituents.
A former chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Area, Chief Wilson Omene, urged APC leaders and members to place the collective interest of the party above individual ambitions.
Omene said elections required teamwork and called on party stakeholders across Delta Central to work together to ensure victory for all APC candidates, while also urging continued support for President Tinubu.
From Ethiope West, Dafinone proceeded to Sapele Local Government Area, where former Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Kingsley Esiso, who is now an APC leader, joined other stakeholders in mobilising support for the senator and the party.
Describing Dafinone as a “Sapele boy,” Esiso said the message from party leaders was clear — APC members across the area must unite and work for a “six-over-six” victory in 2027.
“We are in Sapele and this is Sapele. Our leaders have spoken. What they have said is simply that all of us must vote for APC, six over six,” Esiso said.
He urged the people of Sapele to support one of their own, while also commending Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as visible development and infrastructure projects across Delta State.
Esiso further charged political appointees and party leaders to intensify grassroots mobilisation, saying those occupying political positions must contribute meaningfully to the party’s success at the polls.
Responding to the assurances from the two local government areas, Dafinone thanked the party leaders and members for their support and expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in all the positions it would contest in 2027.
“All the positions of the All Progressives Congress will be successful in the election come 2027. Six over six,” Dafinone declared.
The senator also described Governor Oborevwori as a “capacity and working governor,” while acknowledging the economic hardship currently being experienced by Nigerians.
He appealed to Nigerians to remain patient with the Tinubu administration, arguing that the economic reforms being implemented were intended to reposition the country for long-term prosperity.
Dafinone also urged APC leaders and members to take the party’s message to the grassroots and reach out to Nigerians who were not yet members of the APC.
He called on party members to engage with such individuals, explain the policies of the administration to them and persuade them to support the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Sapele consultation, held at the Sapele Local Government Council Secretariat, was attended by prominent APC leaders and stakeholders from across Delta Central, including the Delta Central APC Chairman, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, and the member representing Sapele Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Perkins Umukoro.
The consultations ended with renewed calls for unity, grassroots mobilisation and collective action, with party leaders pledging to work together to deliver a “six-over-six” victory for the APC across Delta Central in 2027….
