Dafinone Congratulates Okowa, Joel Onowakpo on APC Senatorial Primaries Victory

The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has congratulated former Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, and the Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, on their emergence as the Senatorial Candidates of the All Progressives Congress for Delta North and Delta South Senatorial Districts respectively ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Senator Dafinone described their victories as a clear reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in them by delegates, party leaders, and stakeholders across the two senatorial districts.

The lawmaker also expressed satisfaction with the peaceful and orderly conduct of the APC Senatorial Primaries across Delta State, noting that the exercise demonstrated the unity, strength, and growing democratic culture within the party.

According to him, the emergence of experienced political figures like Senator Okowa and Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas has further strengthened the APC and positioned the party strongly for victory in the 2027 general elections.
