Dafinone Marks Three Years in Senate, Reaffirms Commitment to Delta Central

Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has marked his third anniversary in the Senate, expressing gratitude to constituents for their support and reaffirming his commitment to advancing the development of the district.
In a statement commemorating three years since he was sworn into the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dafinone thanked the people of Delta Central for the confidence reposed in him, describing their trust and support as the foundation of his service.
The lawmaker acknowledged the contributions of traditional institutions, community leaders, party faithful, youth and women groups, as well as other stakeholders across the senatorial district, noting that their prayers, encouragement and cooperation have been instrumental to his work in the National Assembly.
Reflecting on his tenure, Dafinone said he had remained committed to providing effective representation, ensuring that the interests of Delta Central are adequately represented in national affairs, and supporting policies and initiatives aimed at promoting development and expanding opportunities for the people.
He, however, noted that despite the progress recorded over the past three years, many families and businesses continue to grapple with economic challenges, stressing that the situation underscores the need for sustained efforts and purposeful leadership.
According to him, his focus in the coming years will be on expanding economic opportunities, supporting education and skills development, advocating critical infrastructure projects, and championing initiatives that will strengthen Delta Central and contribute to Nigeria’s long-term growth and prosperity.
Dafinone described the anniversary not only as a moment for reflection but also as an opportunity to renew his pledge to serve with diligence, integrity and purpose.
He reiterated his determination to justify the confidence placed in him by the electorate and to continue advancing the interests and welfare of the people of Delta Central Senatorial District.
The senator also expressed appreciation to his constituents for the privilege of serving them, pledging to work with all stakeholders to build a stronger and more prosperous future for the district.
