Eid-el-Kabir: Senator Ede Dafinone Urges Unity, Peace, Support for the Less Privileged

Senator Ede Dafinone has felicitated with Muslims across Delta Central and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, calling for unity, peace, compassion, and support for the less privileged in society.
In his Eid message, the lawmaker described Eid al-Adha as a season that reflects the virtues of faith, obedience, sacrifice, and total devotion to God, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
He noted that the celebration offers an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to values that strengthen families, communities, and the nation at large.
Senator Dafinone urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of peace, generosity, and unity which defines the celebration, stressing the need for citizens to continue showing love to one another irrespective of ethnic or religious differences.
According to him, national progress can only be achieved when citizens live together in harmony and work collectively for the common good.
The senator also commended the Muslim community in Delta Central for their contributions to the peace, growth, and development of the district, describing their resilience, enterprise, and commitment to peaceful coexistence as commendable.
He reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive representation and pledged continued support for initiatives aimed at empowering youths, strengthening families, and improving livelihoods across communities in the senatorial district.
Speaking further, Senator Dafinone encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and steadfast despite the nation’s challenges, adding that collective support and shared responsibility were necessary in building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous country.
He expressed optimism that with faith, patience, and unity, the country would overcome its challenges and achieve lasting progress.
The lawmaker also prayed for Allah to accept the prayers, sacrifices, and acts of worship of Muslim faithful, while wishing them a joyful, peaceful, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
