The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has secured pledges of support from youths and political leaders in Idjerhe, Mosogar and Oghara kingdoms in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsements came on Friday during a consultation tour of the three kingdoms, where youth leaders and prominent political stakeholders declared their readiness to support Dafinone’s re-election bid and work towards the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections.

Dafinone was accompanied on the tour by Delta Central APC Chairman, Chief Paulinus Akpeki; Chief Adelabu Bodjor; Hon. Austine Ayemidejor; former Sapele Local Government Chairman, Chief Eugene Inoaghan; APC candidate for Sapele State Constituency II, Hon. Ejiro Jamani; and other party leaders.

The senator began his consultations in Idjerhe Kingdom with a visit to the residence of Chief Hon. Halims Agoda, a prominent APC leader, where he was received by party stakeholders and community leaders, including Anthony Akpomiemie, APC candidate for Ethiope West State Constituency I, Hon. Nelson Owoso, and Ethiope West Local Government Chairman, Hon. Christian Onogba.

Speaking at the meeting in Jesse, President of Idjerhe Youths, Comrade Desmond Emoefe Agbigbe, declared the support of youths in the kingdom for Dafinone ahead of the 2027 elections.

Agbigbe, however, drew attention to some of the challenges confronting Idjerhe and appealed to the senator to prioritise the kingdom’s developmental needs in his constituency intervention programmes.

Also speaking on behalf of Idjerhe political leaders, Chief Agoda expressed confidence in the APC’s electoral prospects, describing the party’s chances and Dafinone’s re-election as a “done deal.”

From Jesse, the consultation train moved to Mosogar Kingdom, where the senator and his entourage were received by Senator Chief Ighoyota Amori, Chief Solomon Obareki and other prominent political stakeholders.

At the gathering, Mosogar Youth President, Hon. Oki Eboigbe, pledged the support of youths in the kingdom for Dafinone’s re-election, assuring him of their readiness to mobilise grassroots support ahead of the polls.

In his remarks, Amori reaffirmed his commitment to the electoral success of Dafinone and other APC candidates, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

He stressed the need for party leaders and supporters in Mosogar to work together towards securing victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.

The consultation tour subsequently proceeded to Oghara Kingdom, where Dafinone and his delegation visited the residence of former Delta State Governor, Chief James Ibori.

The delegation was received by former Ethiope West Local Government Chairman, Chief Solomon Golley, alongside other political leaders and youths of the community.

Speaking on behalf of Oghara youths, their chairman, Comrade Monday Omomedia, declared confidence in the APC’s electoral prospects, insisting that there was no opposition in the kingdom.

Omomedia assured the senator that the youths would mobilise grassroots support to ensure the party’s victory across Oghara in the forthcoming elections.

Corroborating the youth leader’s position, Chief Golley pledged that Oghara would deliver a resounding victory for Dafinone and other APC candidates in 2027.

Throughout the consultations, Akpeki expressed appreciation to the people of Ethiope West for the warm reception accorded Dafinone and his entourage.

The Delta Central APC chairman, who introduced the senator at the various meetings, also commended party leaders and youths across the three kingdoms for their unity and commitment.

Responding to the endorsements, Dafinone thanked the youths, political leaders and people of Idjerhe, Mosogar and Oghara for their support and hospitality.

He assured them of his commitment to attracting more federal projects, programmes and development opportunities to Delta Central, emphasising the importance of sustained cooperation between the constituency and the Federal Government.

The senator also expressed confidence in the APC’s ability to deliver on its promises to Nigerians, urging constituents to maintain their support and vote for the party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections.
